Sharon Society, Home for the Aged
It was a very humbling and serene experience for me to spend some time with people who are lonely and do not have a family to look after them.
We had the opportunity to share a meal and provide them a new freezer.
Kirubhalaya, center for street children
Kirubhalaya is a place where girls from the street are loved, cared for and helped to dream again. Visiting and spending time with these children made me realize how fortunate most of us are and how we take many things for granted in life. We were able to provide a much-needed water purifier and invertor.
The girls expressed their gratitude with a special performance and a special hand made thank you card.
Kalmandapam, Government School
I visited a small public school and provided school bags to those little kiddos. You should have seen the smile on their little faces when they received a brand new backpack that they can proudly bring to school. It was truly a blessing to be able to help these children.
St. John's Church School
My mom grew up attending St. Johns Church. Our church runs a school for underprivileged children, and we were able to provide them with much-needed tables and chairs, that they can use on a daily basis.
